Great to grab this week’s blast of unseasonal warm weather to take the new balloon for our York rides for a flight before the season starts. Our York pilot Ollie Webb flew in the balloon with chief pilot Kim and is excited to be flying this balloon for the 2019 season. “It is a natural progression for my flying to a 10 passenger balloon, a step up from the Heritage balloon that I have flown over York for the last two years. This will also increase our capacity by 25% to provide space for our increasing number of passengers who want to sample the experience of a hot air balloon ride over York. We didn’t have time to take a picture of the new balloon but it is red and blue with some yellow bands so look out for it flying over York any time soon or better still come and fly with me” says Ollie.
